Previously, I asked GPT ten questions to help us prepare for 2030, and you can find the responses generated by AI here. In this article, I have built on these experiments and asked GPT to make a list of exciting future jobs.
Here is the methodology I followed: I used the following prompt or its variations about 50 times on OpenAI Playground:
“What are the most surprising and mind-blowing business innovations of the future? Name exciting, new, mind-blowing, insightful, underrated, surprising, and non-obvious entrepreneurial ideas for 2030 and beyond.”
I have then curated the best 100 business innovations among 400+ ones recommended by OpenAI Playground (GPT).
When choosing these top 100 business innovations, I have favoured the ‘wow’ factor.
The ultimate test of whether to include an innovation area in this list was determined by the following questions or sentiments:
- Am I really excited by this area of innovation?
- Do I believe that novel, exciting, and impactful businesses will emerge in these areas?
- Is there a “Wow” feeling in my stomach when I see this innovation area and its description?
That is how I curated the following list of 100 business innovations of the future. I followed my gut feeling and my taste during the process of curation. I tried to choose the ones that opened my mind to new possibilities.
All these ideas were written by OpenAI Playground. I tried to eliminate obvious ideas or repetitions, although there might be repetitions in some of the ideas presented below.
I spent about 4 hours to create or curate this list. It was the best 4 hours I spent today — I loved working with GPT to delve into the exciting world of tomorrow’s businesses.
I realized that GPT is a great partner in exploring future innovations, and perhaps even in designing and creating them. As such, the following list will capture the interest of entrepreneurs, business leaders, inventors, innovators, polymaths, futurists, policy makers, educators, and technologists.
I would call this list: “The Ultimate List of Future Business Innovations Powered by AI”.
The list is not comprehensive since I can easily expand this list to 400 innovations or more. The list is also not objective, it is shaped my tastes and curiosities, plus those of GPT.

Wearable biometric sensors and medical devices can be used to track vital signs, detect blood pressure, electrocardiographic signals, and more. The information gathered can be used to detect illness, monitor physical activity, and improve overall health. 3. Autonomous Vehicle Technology: Autonomous vehicle technology has been steadily increasing in sophistication and ubiquity over the past few years.
